Vom 16. bis 20. Juni 2015 findet in Passau die 20. International Conference On Applications Of Natural Language To Information Systems (NDLB) statt. Teil dieser Veranstaltung ist auch die von der Deutschen ISKO (International Society for Knowledge Organization) organisierte Veranstaltung Wissensorganisation ‘15. Diese wird am 16. Juni, dem Vorkonferenztag, in Form verschiedener Workshops abgehalten. Unter Wissensorganisation wird die Systematisierung und Einordnung von Information über Wissen verstanden. Hierunter fallen Bibliotheksschemata, Katalogisierungsregeln, semantische Vernetzungen, bibliometrische Auswertungen, Metadaten von Webinhalten, Annotierungen von Bildmaterial und Ontologien für Informationsmedien. Auf dieser Tagung werden neue Ansätze der Wissensorganisation vorgestellt, ihre theoretischen Annahmen diskutiert sowie mögliche Auswirkungen auf die Praxis besprochen. Die Veranstaltung richtet sich an u.a. Informationswissenschaftler, Wissenschaftstheoretiker, Wirtschaftsinformatiker, Bibliothekswissenschaftler, Sozialwissenschaftler und Bibliometriker.
