Am 6. und 7. Dezember 2016 findet in London die London Info International (LII) 2016 statt. Die LII ist bekanntlich so etwas wie die Nachfolgeveranstaltung der einstigen großen Werkschau der europäischen Informationsbranche, der Online Information (OI). Die LII versucht sich dabei als eine Plattform und Netzwerk für die gesamte Informationsbranche zu etablieren, ähnlich wie es die Online Information früher schon war. Allerdings geschieht dies vorerst doch in einem deutlich kleineren Rahmen, als dies bei der OI früher der Fall war. Angeboten werden neben dem Konferenzprogramm mit Vorträgen, Seminaren, Diskussionsgruppen, Ausstellung, Produktvorführungen sowie auch umfangreiche Möglichkeiten zum Netzwerken inklusive der sogenannten Disruptor Zone. Die Veranstaltung ist auch für Information Professionals in Unternehmen vom europäischen Kontinent sehr interessant, da das Programm eine Vielzahl von hochkarätigen Sprechern, u.a. Karen Blakeman und Phil Bradley, bietet und eine der wenigen verbliebenen Treffpunkte der Informationsbranche ist.
